On the main laptop, go to the printers Properties. Go to the Sharing tab and share the printer.
On the other laptop add a printer. Browse the network for the printer connected to the main computer. Install it. The laptop can now print to the printer on the main laptop.
Be aware that Vista takes a little time to recognize the printer (every time you print), then takes a little time to send the print job.

The 1210 does not have the ability to hook directly to your network, so you can not directly share the printer. But you can indirectly share it.
Install the printer on one of the laptops. Once installed, go into the Control Panel, and the Printer icon, and right click on the printer. Go in the Properties. You will see a place to turn on “Sharing”.
Once the sharing is turned on, you go to the second laptop and use the Network Places/Network Neighborhood (depending on your version of Windows) to find the first computer. The printer should be listed on that computer. Click on it, and “add” the printer.
Once done, if you “print” from the seond laptop, the printout will show up on the printer attached to the first laptop without you having to do anything. It does, however, require that the first laptop be turned on for it to work. The printer request is actually sent to the first laptop, which prints it for you, so the first laptop has to be on.
